Captivating Romance
A captivating romance and definite page turner for me where the ruthless dark lord meets his match in the innocent lady he's meant to protect. Severin and Raina have an electric chemistry, an instant attraction that takes them to emotion, longing, wanting and love that neither expected.

Dark and Steamy drama
This is not a sweet or clean historical romance, this dark and steamy drama is so much better. The lust in this story comes fast and hard with the romance slower to follow, but what a delicious journey! Raina's childhood experience was heartbreaking to read, but her progression to enlightened woman was satisfying. Watching the cold and hard Severin slowly melt and unravel was gratifying. I look forward to the next story in this series.

Lust and Love
I love a strong female character and Raina did not disappoint. She was clever, brave, and cunning. Raina is a good match for Severin...Their chemistry was phenomenal and I enjoyed how they got to know each other, mostly because she kept outwitting him. This was a great addition to this series, with incredibly broody and strong capable women. The story moved quickly and I was completely absorbed, in fact, I read it far too fast... I look forward to more in this series.
